SECOND PHASE TEACHING PRACTICE

WEEK 8

DAY-31  19.01.2026 (Monday)

On the 31st day of the second-phase teaching practice at RVSMHSS, Prayar, I reached the school around 9:00 a.m. and marked my attendance at 9:15 a.m., then prepared for the day’s activities. After the morning prayer, the school sessions began. I handled the second period in class 9D, where I introduced Ohm’s law using illustrations and ICT, and concluded by summarising the key points. In the third period at class 9C, I introduced the topic oxygen, explaining its preparation, properties, and uses, and revised the main points. During lunch break, we assisted in serving the mid-day meal and then marked afternoon attendance. Then we prepared the students who failed in Christmas exam for retest. We left the school around 4:45 p.m. after collecting our belongings

DAY-32  20.01.2026 (Tuesday)

On the 32nd day of the second-phase teaching practice at RUSMHSS, Prayar, I reached the school around 9:05 a.m. and marked my attendance at 9:15 a.m., then prepared for the day’s activities. After the morning prayer, classes began. During the fourth period at 9C, I introduced chlorine, explaining its preparation, bleaching action, preparation of bleaching powder, properties, and uses, and concluded by summarising the main points. At lunch, we served the mid-day meal and marked afternoon attendance. Later, I had a period at 9D where i started the chapter “Sound”, explained the key concepts, and concluded with a summary. We left the school around 4:15 p.m. after collecting our belongings.

DAY-33  21.01.2026 (Wednesday)

On the 33rd day of the second-phase teaching practice at RVSMHSS, Prayar, I reached the school around 9:10 a.m. and marked my attendance at 9:15 a.m., then prepared for the day. After the morning prayer, classes commenced. During the second period in class 9E, I assisted students with “Let Us Assess” activities. In the fourth period in class 9G, I introduced the new chapter "Sound". At lunch, we served the mid-day meal and marked afternoon attendance. In the sixth period in class 9D, I taught the arrangement of resistors in circuits, summarised the lesson, and asked questions. We left at 4:10 p.m.

DAY-34  22.01.2026 (Thursday)

On the 34th day of the second-phase teaching practice at RVSMHSS, Prayar, I reached the school around 9:05 a.m. and marked my attendance at 9:15 a.m., then prepared for the day’s activities. After the morning prayer, classes commenced. I handled a substitution period in the fourth hour for class 9, where I completed the chapter “Sound” and summarised the key points. During the lunch break, we served the mid-day meal and marked the afternoon attendance. In the fifth period for class 9, I completed the chapter “Sound” and revised the entire lesson with the students. We left the school around 4:10 p.m. after collecting our belongings.

DAY-35  23.01.2026 (Friday)

On the 35th day of the second-phase teaching practice at RUSMHSS, Prayar, I reached the school around 9:10 a.m. and marked my attendance at 9:15 a.m., then prepared for the day’s activities. After the morning prayer, classes commenced. I handled the fifth period in class 9G, where I taught numerical problems related to series and parallel connections and provided notes to the students. During lunch break, I served the mid-day meal and marked the afternoon attendance. As it was the final day of the second-phase teaching practice, we distributed sweets to students, the headmistress, teaching, and non-teaching staff. After school hours, the teachers and staff gave us a small farewell, during which we shared our experiences and expressed gratitude. We left the school around 4:45 p.m. after collecting our belongings.
