BLOOD STEM CELL DONATION CAMP

 Blood Stem Cell Donation Camp The National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit No: KL-07-173 of Kerala University College of Teacher Education (KUCTE), Kayamkulam, in collaboration with DATRI Blood Stem Cell Donors Registry, organized a Blood Stem Cell Donor Registration Camp on 16th October 2025 at the college auditorium. The event aimed to raise awareness about the importance of blood stem cell donation and encourage voluntary registrations. The program included an inaugural address by Principal Dr. Prasanth R, followed by an informative session by DATRI representatives, who explained the donation process and addressed common misconceptions. A significant number of students and staff registered as potential donors. The camp, coordinated by NSS Programme Officer Smt. Sabeena S and Volunteer Secretary Arya S, was a successful initiative towards promoting life-saving awareness and social responsibility among youth.

Blood Donation Camp The National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit No: KL-07-173 of Kerala University College of Teacher Education (KUCTE), Kayamkulam, in association with Government TD Medical College, Alappuzha, organized a Blood Donation Camp on Monday, 13th October 2025, at 9:30 AM in the college auditorium. The camp aimed to promote the message "Blood donors are life savers" and encourage voluntary blood donation among students and staff. The event was inaugurated by Principal and General Convener Dr. Prasanth R, with NSS Programme Officer Smt. Sabeena S coordinating the activities. A dedicated team from TD Medical College managed the blood collection, ensuring safety and efficiency. Numerous students and faculty members came forward to donate blood, making the camp a meaningful and successful initiative in fostering social responsibility and compassion. FIRST PHASE TEACHING PRACTICE

WEEK 11 DAY-42  06.10.2025 (Monday) On the 42nd day of our first-phase teaching practice at H.S for Girls, Karunagappally, tasks were carried out efficiently. We reached the school around 9 a.m., marked our attendance by 9:25 a.m., and prepared for the day. As it was the second day of Kalolsavam, there was no morning assembly, and we were assigned to enter competition results into Excel. During lunch break, we served the mid-day meal and later signed our afternoon attendance. We continued our data-entry duties, carefully cross-checking the results before handing them over to the assigned teachers. We also assisted in appeal procedures. We left the school around 4:30 p.m. after gathering our belongings. FIRST PHASE TEACHING PRACTICE

WEEK 10 DAY-39  29.09.2025 (Monday) On the 39th day of our first-phase teaching practice at H.S for Girls, Karunagappally, activities were carried out smoothly. I reached the school at 9 a.m., marked my attendance by 9:25 a.m., and prepared for the day. After the morning assembly, our physical science mentor, Dr. Jyothis Sir, came to observe my class. In the first period at 8H, I introduced the manometer, demonstrated a working model, assisted students with experiments, and concluded by summarizing key concepts. During my free period in 8D, I conducted project-related games. After serving the mid-day meal and marking afternoon attendance, I taught chemical formulas of salts in 9F and helped students complete their textbook activity. We also supported students with their project work.
