FIRST PHASE TEACHING PRACTICE

WEEK 9 DAY-34  22.09.2025 (Monday) On the 34th day of our first-phase teaching practice at H.S for Girls, Karunagappally, the day progressed smoothly. I arrived at 9 a.m. and marked attendance by 9:30 a.m. After the morning assembly, I handled my first period in Standard 9F, introducing problems related to pressure and concluding with a summary of key points. Before lunch, we helped prepare a slide presentation for students participating in a talent search exam and a project competition. After assisting with the mid-day meal, I taught chemical formulas in the 5th period and later conducted a sociometry activity in Class 8G. We left the school at 4:30 p.m. after arranging our materials. FIRST PHASE TEACHING PRACTICE

WEEK 8 DAY-33  15.09.2025 (Monday) On the 33rd day of our first-phase teaching practice at FH.S for Girls, Karunagappally, the day began smoothly. I arrived at the school at 9 a.m., and we prepared for the day’s activities. The school officially commenced after the morning assembly. However, we soon learned that our peer group from the Arabic optional class had contracted mumps. Following this, the Headmistress instructed all of us who had been in contact to undergo a one-week quarantine. After informing our assigned teachers, we left the school as directed.

WEEK 7 DAY-28  08.09.2025 (Monday) On the 28th day of our first-phase teaching practice at HS for Girls, Karunagappally, we reached the school by 9:00 am and marked attendance at 9:25 am. As it was the reopening day after Onam, there was no assembly. I couldn’t take my planned lesson since the assigned teacher had to distribute exam papers, so I explained the answers to the Physics Onam exam instead. I handled a substitution class at 7A during the fourth period and guided students to complete pending work. We served the mid-day meal, marked afternoon attendance, completed our duties, and left by 4:20 pm.
