 Meet The Candidate In preparation of the College Union Election scheduled to be held on September 11, 2024 at our college, we organised a meet the candidate program so that the candidates get the opportunity to introduce themselves as well as the students get the opportunity to hear the promises candidates have to offer them. There were eight candidates competing for six positions on the college union. Four of these positions were unopposed. I run for Vice Chairperson. My opponent was Veena from Social Science optional.

Teacher’s Day Our campus hosted a vibrant Teachers' Day celebration, organised entirely by our talented students. The ceremony was inaugurated by our esteemed principal.  As a token of appreciation for their tireless efforts, teachers were presented with handcrafted flower bouquets and heartfelt wish cards. The event was further featured by a variety of artistic performances showcased by our students.

School Induction Programme The School Induction Programme is a significant milestone for first year B.Ed students as they embark on a new journey on their teaching careers. For the School Induction Programme of our B.Ed curriculum, our assigned school was Govt.HSS, Oachira. Our group of eight had the opportunity to visit the school from August 29, 2024 to September 4, 2024. Having only viewed the school from a student’s perspective, the opportunity to see the school and children through a teacher’s perspective was a unique experience.  These five days were beneficial in deepening my understanding of student behaviour, responsibilities of a teacher and teacher-student relationship. I was able to engage with students in UP and HS, observe teacher’s classes and conduct my own classes. Apart from these, we got an opportunity to do the works related to first term examination and its supervision.
