SECOND PHASE TEACHING PRACTICE

WEEK 7

DAY-26  12.01.2026 (Monday)

On the 26th day of the second phase of teaching practice at RVSMHSS, Prayar, the day progressed smoothly. I arrived at school at 9:00 a.m., marked attendance at 9:15 a.m., and prepared for the day. After the morning prayer, I conducted an achievement test during the first period in Class 9D. In the third period, I taught carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide to Class 9C using the concept attainment model and summarized the lesson. I performed midday meal duty during lunch and assisted with other school activities in the afternoon before leaving at 4:10 p.m.

DAY-27  13.01.2025 (Tuesday)

On the 27th day of the second phase of teaching practice at RVSMHSS, Prayar, the day was carried out efficiently. I reached school at 9:00 a.m., marked attendance at 9:15 a.m., and prepared for the day. After the morning assembly, I handled a substitution period at 9F and later i had my 3rd period at 9E , where i taught Nitrogen and Chlorine, explaining their preparation, properties, and uses. During the third period at 9D, my class on Electric Current was observed by Sobha teacher, where I used demonstrations and ICT tools. After midday meal duty, my mentor observed a lesson on Carbon and its allotropes during 5th period at 9C, where i used ICT to deliver the lesson. I left school at 4:15 p.m.

DAY-28  14.01.2026 (Wednesday)

On the 28th day of the second phase of teaching practice at RUSMHSS, Prayar, the day’s activities were carried out efficiently. I reached the school in the morning, marked attendance at 9:15 am, and prepared for the classes. After the morning assembly, I handled the second period in class 9G, introducing electric current and potential difference using ICT and experiments. I also took substitution period at 9D, teaching potential difference through ICT and demonstrations at fourth period. During lunch break, we served the mid-day meal and marked afternoon attendance. Later i taught nitrogen using the advance organizer model at 9C during fifth period. In the sixth period, I taught chlorine at 9E and revised the chapter. After gathering our belongings, we left the school around 4:05 pm.

DAY-29  15.01.2026 (Thursday)

On the 20th day of the second phase of teaching practice at RVSMH SS, Prayar, I reached the school around 9:00 a.m. and marked my attendance at 9:15 a.m. After morning assembly, the school commenced as usual. I handled a substitution period in the third hour for class 9G, where I taught the combination of cells, intensity of electric current, and Ohm’s law, concluding with a brief summary. During lunch break, we served the mid-day meal and marked afternoon attendance. As there was a PTA meeting for 9th standard, no afternoon classes were conducted. We left the school at 4:10 p.m. after collecting our belongings.

DAY-30  16.01.2026 (Friday)

On the 30th day of the second-phase teaching practice at RUSMHSS, Prayar, I reached the school around 9:00 a.m. and marked my attendance at 9:16 a.m., then prepared for the day’s activities. After the morning assembly, the classes commenced as scheduled. I handled a period in class 9G, where I taught Rheostat along with series and parallel connections. During the lunch break, we served the mid-day meal and marked the afternoon attendance. Later, I received a substitution period in class 9C, where I assisted my fellow trainee in completing the topics nitrogen and oxygen. We left the school around 4:05 p.m. after collecting our belongings.
