SECOND PHASE TEACHING PRACTICE
WEEK 3
DAY-11 01.12.2025 (Monday)
On the eleventh day of our second-phase teaching practice at RVSMHSS, Prayar, I reached the school around 9:00 am, marked my attendance, and prepared for the day. After the morning prayer, I handled the second period in 9D, where I conducted a diagnostic test and collected the answer sheets. With some extra time remaining, I provided the students with the rest of their notes. In the third period at class 9C, I assisted them with the “Let Us Assess” activities and introduced the new chapter, “Solution”, highlighting the key concepts. After serving the mid-day meal and marking afternoon attendance, I completed other assigned duties. We left the school around 4:10 pm.
DAY-12 02.12.2025 (Tuesday)
On the 12th day of our second-phase teaching practice at RVSMHSS, Prayar, the day began with marking attendance at 9:15 am and preparing for the day’s activities. After the morning prayer, I handled the second period in class 9E, where I provided notes on the chapter “Solution.” In the fourth period at class 9C, I continued the same chapter and revised the concepts of saturated, unsaturated, and supersaturated solutions. After serving the mid-day meal and signing the afternoon attendance, I took the seventh period in class 9D, teaching the concept of negative work using ICT-based activities. The day ended with the national anthem.
DAY-13 03.12.2025 (Wednesday)
On the 13th day of our second-phase teaching practice at RVSMHSS, Prayar, the day began with marking attendance at 9:15 am and preparing for classes after reaching the school. Following the morning prayer at 9:30 am, I handled the second period in class 9G, where I continued teaching work, its measurement, and work done against gravity, concluding with a summary of key points. During the third period, I utilized a free hour in class 9D to teach energy and potential energy, explaining concepts with examples and problem-solving. After assisting in the mid-day meal and completing attendance, I handled the seventh period in class 9E, introducing non-metals. The day concluded with the national anthem at 4:10 pm.
DAY-14 04.12.2025 (Thursday)
On the 14th day of our second-phase teaching practice at RVSMHSS, Prayar, the day began with reaching the school and marking attendance at 9:15 am, followed by preparation for the day’s activities. After the morning prayer, I had no teaching periods scheduled and therefore engaged in other assigned duties within the school. During the lunch break, we assisted in serving the mid-day meal to students. As we had a Physical and Health Education internal examination at the college scheduled for 2:00 pm, prior permission was informed to the headmistress in advance. After informing the concerned teachers in the absence of the headmistress, we left the school around 1:15 pm.
DAY-15 05.12.2025 (Friday)
On the 15th day of our second-phase teaching practice at RVSMHSS, Prayar, the day began with reaching the school and marking attendance at 9:15 am, followed by preparation for the day’s activities. After the morning prayer, I handled a substitution period in class 9D, where I taught kinetic energy and the factors affecting it using activities, ICT tools, and problem-solving exercises. During the lunch break, we assisted in serving the mid-day meal and marked the afternoon attendance. In the fifth period, I utilized a free hour in class 9C to introduce true solutions, suspensions, and colloids, helping students differentiate them with real-life examples and demonstrations. The day concluded with the national anthem at 4:10 pm.
